The Giuliano Grassi Excellence in Biomass Industrial Deployment Prize

The Giuliano Grassi Prize was established to recognize outstanding scientific, technical, or managerial contributions to the market deployment of biomass industrial processes, achieved through sustained and continuous accomplishments. This is an esteemed International Award. 

Nomination Guidelines

Nominations must be submitted to the Chair of the Giuliano Grassi Prize Committee using the official nomination form.

Each nomination should include:

  • A one-page explanation detailing why the nominator believes the nominee deserves the award.
  • A signed support letter.
  • A list of the nominee’s achievements in the field of biomass.
  • A curriculum vitae (if available).

Rules of Nomination:

  • Self-nominations are not permitted.
  • Nominators may not nominate individuals from their own organization; nominees must be from a different organization.
  • Members of the Giuliano Grassi Prize Committee are not eligible for nomination.

    The Giuliano Grassi Excellence in Biomass Industrial Deployment Prize is named in honour of Mr. Giuliano Grassi who contributed his lifetime in the market deployment of biomass and the creation of the European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA). It is an International Award to honour scientific, technical, or managerial merit in the market deployment of biomass industrial processes, attained over a long period of continuous achievements.
